Former Liverpool player Raheem Sterling was the centre of hostility from the Reds supporters during the Premier League clash between defending champions Manchester City and the Merseysiders at the weekend.
Sterling, already riled up by the Liverpool supporters, had a little spat with Joe Gomez who had come on as a substitute in the second half of the league game which ended in a controversial 3-1 win over Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

The little spat between Joe Gomez and Raheem Sterling was aggravated when the two players reported for England duty.
The two players nearly went physical before they were separated by their teammates.
Raheem Sterling was said to have been aggressive towards Joe Gomez and he has been dropped for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifier at home to Montenegro in Group A of the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
England lead the group and a win over Montenegro will secure a spot at Euro 2020.
