Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for October ahead of the league clash with Arsenal.
Jamie Vardy and Leicester City host North London giants Arsenal at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening in what’s a week 12 clash.
The retired England international won the award Ahead of the likes of Chelsea winger Willian, Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, Leicester City teammate Youri Tielemans and others.
He was rewarded for his return of four goals from three league games in the month of October.

Jamie Vardy fired blanks at the start of the month as the Foxes were beaten 2-1 at league leaders Liverpool courtesy the late penalty from James Milner after Sadio Mane was deemed to have been fouled by second-half substitute for Leicester City Marc Albrighton.
Jamie Vardy then went on to score the winning goal in the next game, a 2-1 victory over Burnley at the King Power Stadium.
The retired England international went on to make a big statement as he netted a hattrick to propel Leicester City to a record, setting 9-0 victory at the home of South Coast club Southampton.
Leicester City were able to set a new record for biggest away margin in the history of the Premier League.
