Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a massive boost in their pursuit of Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.

The two English clubs have been boosted with the news that their transfer target wants to play in the Premier League.

This is according to the player’s father Alfe-Ing Haaland who made this known in his latest interview as monitored by Goal.

According to him, the Premier League suits his son and that he’ll feature in it in the future.

Erling Haaland is on the radar of both Arsenal and Manchester United after scoring 23 goals in 17 games in all competitions in the colours of Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg this season.

He has scored 12 goals in 11 league games this term in addition to four assists as Red Bull Salzburg continue to set the pace in the Austrian top flight.

Erling Haaland is the leading goalscorer in the Champions League this season with seven goals in his four games.

His seventh goal came during the 1-1 draw at Napoli on Tuesday night.

Erling Haaland is the highest goalscoring teenager in the history of the Champions League after surpassing the record jointly held by Raul Gonzalez and Kylian Mbappe.
