Embattled Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has drawn up a four-man transfer shortlist ahead of the January transfer window.

This is according to the publication from the London Evening Standard.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is targeting four players ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in a few weeks’ time.

Leicester City midfielder James Maddison, Juventus midfielder Emre Can, Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland and Everton forward Richarlison have been shortlisted for the January transfer market at Manchester United.

It was revealed that the Red Devils want to sign at least two from those aforementioned four players.

Leicester City midfielder James Maddison is a long-term transfer of Manchester United and he’s an important player at the King Power Stadium.

James Maddison has propelled the Foxes to a top-three spot on the Premier League table after 11 league games.

For Emre Can, the German international is surplus to requirements at Juventus and he could leave the club in January with Manchester United interested in the former Liverpool midfielder.

Everton attacker Richarlison has endured an average start to the new season with just two league goals for the Brazilian.

Young teenage striker Erling Haaland has been the toast of several teams in European football after scoring 23 goals this term.
