United Target Four Homegrown Stars Including In-form Youngster
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly to continue his overhauling process when the winter transfer window opens in January.
The manager, who brought three England-born players in the summer, remains unsatisfied with what he’s getting from his players and he’s keen on adding more players to his squad in the next transaction period.
According to Manchester Evening, the former Molde manager has shown interest in four homegrown players, including Declan Rice, Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Ben Chilwell.
West Ham’s defensive midfielder is currently linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams following his incredible ball-winning ability at the middle of the pitch.

United haven’t been too solid at the middle of the park, no thanks to Matic’s loss of form and lack of game-time.
Leicester City’s duo of James Maddison and Ben Chilwell are also in the list of Solskjaer’s targets following their exploits with the King Power outfits throughout last season.
Maddison, who is valued at £80m by the Foxes, is currently one of the most creative midfielders in the league and Solskjaer sees him as the solution to United’s inability to create many goalscoring chances.
As for lively Sancho, Borussia Dortmund’s winger was United’s prime target in the summer but they couldn’t poach him from the Bundesliga side.
Solskjaer is, however, willing to lure him to Old Trafford at all costs – even if it means paying a whopping sum of £100m for his signature.
