Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United have drawn up a three-man transfer shortlist according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Express.
It was revealed that the Red Devils want to boost their ailing squad when the January transfer window reopens in the next few weeks and that they have drawn up a shortlist of three targets.
The trio of Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly made the list.
Earlier reports had claimed that Mario Mandzukic has agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a potential move but that seems too wide off the mark.

Mario Mandzukic is in the twilight of his football career and he has been frozen out of the Juventus team by new manager Maurizio Sarri.
For Declan Rice, West Ham United have slammed an asking price of £80m on him.
He was linked with the Red Devils in the summer but the Chelsea Academy graduate opted to stay with the Hammers for this season.
Napoli center-back Kalidou Koulibaly is the third name on the shortlist.
He is a long-term transfer target of the Red Devils though it remains to be seen whether the club will spend big money on a new defender having spent around £80m for record defender Harry Maguire.
