EPL: Why Kyle Walker Plays Down Blockbuster Liverpool Clash

Manchester City have won the Premier League title in each of the last two seasons but they might need to work extra hard to make it a hat-trick of title wins this season with rivals Liverpool already setting the pace at the top of the table.

Liverpool missed out on the league title to Manchester City by just one point last season and they have been able to establish a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League table ahead of the meeting between the two title contenders on Sunday.

Manchester City travel to Merseyside to take on hosts Liverpool at Anfield in a week 12 Premier League clash.

Many football fans, pundits and commentators have billed the clash as a crucial one for the title race but Kyle Walker begs to differ.

According to him in his latest interview as monitored by the Daily Mirror, the game will just be like another league match with three points at stake.

The England international further said that Manchester City will like to pick up the win needed to close the gap to Liverpool to just three points at the top of the table.

Kyle Walker was the star of the show at the weekend during the hardfought, 2-1 comeback win over Southampton.
