Manchester United are set to finally capture the services of Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic as they are said to be keeping close tabs on the Serbian star.

United seemed to have returned to form after recording three back-to-back victories on Wednesday against Chelsea but the need to add more firepower to the attacking department still remains non-negotiable.

According to Bleacher Report, Solskjaer has added the Madrid striker to his January transfer wish-list and his employers are ready to spend big on top strikers who will perfectly fill the void created by Romelu Lukaku’s switch to Inter Milan.

The same report claimed that Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane isn’t convinced with Jovic’s goal record since he joined the team in the summer and he could use him as a makeshift to get Paul Pogba next year.

Bayern Munich are also in the lookout for the player’s signature as the same source claimed that the Bavarians are preparing a loan move for the £56m-rated striker.

However, Jovic’s goal-scoring record at Santiago Bernabeu is arguably not enough to attract United’s attention.

He has managed just one goal in 10 matches while Anthony Martial has managed two goals in just three games since he returned from injury.
