Three-time European champions Manchester United have discovered their opponents for the last eight of the Carabao Cup after the draw took place on Thursday morning.

Manchester United were given their next Carabao Cup opponents during the quarterfinal draw held earlier on Thursday.

The Red Devils have been drawn at home to League Two club Colchester United in one of the quarterfinal ties.

Colchester United are giant killers after they dumped out North London club Tottenham Hotspur in the third round via penalties before beating Crawley Town in the last round.

Manchester United booked their spot in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals following the win over Chelsea away from home.

The Red Devils beat Chelsea 2-1 courtesy the brace from the in-form Marcus Rashford who has now scored three goals in the last two games in all competitions.

Marcus Rashford scored one of the goals as newly promoted Premier League side Norwich City were beaten 3-1 by the Red Devils.

With the win over Chelsea, Manchester United have won all of their last three games in all competitions.

All those wins came on the road as Manchester United have been able to recover from the slump in form.

The Carabao Cup quarterfinal ties will be played in the week commencing on December 16.
