Six Manchester United players will miss the Carabao Cup fourth round meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night according to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The players namely Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Axel Tuanzebe, Paul Pogba and Diogo Dalot are all out of the Chelsea game.

Ivorian international centre back Eric Bailly has not played for Manchester United this season as a result of the knee injury he sustained during the preseason friendly win over fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

On his part, Luke Shaw is recovering well from injury but he’s presently in Dubai for the warm weather to aid his recovery according to Solskjaer.

The England international left-back has not played for Manchester United since the third league game of the season vs Crystal Palace in August.

Axel Tuanzebe sustained a hip injury during the warm-up of the Liverpool game in the Premier League last Sunday and he’ll miss the Chelsea game tomorrow having been unable to recover from that setback.

Nemanja Matic is in Dubai for the warm weather alongside Luke Shaw as he recovers from an unspecified injury.

Diogo Dalot is also recovering from an unspecified injury picked up during the Newcastle United game before the international break.
