Four Arsenal players have been left out of the squad to face Liverpool in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

David Luiz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Calum Chambers and controversial skipper Granit Xhaka have all been left out of the Arsenal travelling party to Liverpool.
The Arsenal quartet won’t feature for the Gunners against Liverpool in their Carabao Cup fourth round clash as confirmed by Gunners manager Unai Emery.

The trio of David Luiz, Chambers and Aubameyang have been rested for the Liverpool game as the Arsenal manager tries to give more playing time to the other members of the first team squad.
The fourth and final player rested for the Carabao Cup fourth round game is team skipper Granit Xhaka who has dominated the headlines for the past two days after his faceoff with the Arsenal fans during the Premier League game at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Xhaka had a clash with the fans while he was subbed off during the Crystal Palace game which ended in a 2-2 draw.
He responded rudely to being booed off by the Arsenal fans during the league game.
