Premier League giants Manchester United have suffered from missed penalties in the league this season with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba culpable.

Manchester United and missed penalties are under the spotlight again after their last Premier League game.

The Red Devils missed two penalties during the last league game at the home of Premier League newcomers Norwich City.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial each missed a penalty in the first half of the game at Norwich City but it didn’t prove costly in the end.

Despite the missed penalties, Manchester United were able to end their winless run in the league with a 3-1 victory over the newly promoted Premier League club.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial missed a first-half penalty but were able to atone for the miss with a goal apiece.

According to the Manchester Evening News (MEN), only Daniel James and Andreas Pereira have a perfect penalty record.

Daniel James have converted all his three penalties, while Andreas Pereira also have a 100% record after six penalties.

French World Cup winner Paul Pogba started the penalty woes in the league this season after his miss from 12 yards out vs Wolves away from home in week two.

Marcus Rashford also missed during the home defeat to Crystal Palace in week three.
