Premier League giants Chelsea are eyeing a January move for the attacking duo of Timo Werner and Callum Wilson according to the publication from The Sun.

Timo Werner plays his club football for German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig at the moment, while England international Callum Wilson is on the payroll of Premier League team Bournemouth.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is targeting a new attacker in the New Year and those two players are the candidate to fill that role as revealed by the aforementioned report from the stables of The Sun.

German international star Timo Werner is under the radar of a lot of clubs on the European football scene and Chelsea are the latest club to show interest in him.

Apart from Chelsea, other major European sides like Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Real Madrid (Spain), Bayern Munich (Germany) and Liverpool (England) have also been linked with the petite forward in the past.

On his part, Callum Wilson has been linked with other Premier League teams like West Ham United and Everton.

The England international had scored five goals for Bournemouth in the Premier League this term.

Apart from an attacker, Chelsea also want to sign a winger replacement for Willian.

Chelsea is hoping to sign players in the New Year though they still have one transfer window to go out of the two-window transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA.
