Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has fallen down the pecking order of midfielders at Old Trafford as he isn’t getting the game-time he enjoyed during his first season at the club in 2017.
The Serbian star has lost his position to Scott Mctominay and summer signing Daniel James, and he’s said to be considering a move out of the Theatre of Dreams.
Report already revealed that Serie A side Inter Milan could move for his services in January as Antonio Conte hopes to reunite with the star player.

However, latest report from Corriere dello Sport said that United are set to block the player from leaving Old Trafford as they are ready to trigger a one-year extension in his contract with the club.
The 31-year-old midfielder is in the final year of his contract but the Red Devils are not ready to let go of the highly-rated Serbian based on his experience and importance in the team.
Since the start of this campaign, Matic has featured in just five matches and he is set to miss the team’s trip to Partizan Belgrade for their Europa League fixture due to a minor injury.
