Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has revealed the club’s transfer plans ahead of the winter transfer window in the New Year.

In his recent interview as monitored by the Daily Mail, Gary Neville said that his former club will boost the playing squad when the transfer market reopens in the next one month.

According to the Manchester United legend, the Red Devils boss would be targeting a new attacker to boost his squad on the attacking front.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be backed by the club in the winter transfer window.

The Red Devils are expected to provide Solskjaer with the needed funds to prosecute the January transfer window.

According to former Manchester United teammate Gary Neville, Solskjaer will go for a mobile attacker rather than a normal attacker in the January window.

He said that the Manchester United manager will be targeting mobile attackers like Roberto Firmino of Liverpool or Son Heung-Min of Tottenham Hotspur rather than normal attackers like former player Romelu Lukaku or Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

Solskjaer and his Manchester United players have struggled a bit since the start of the new Premier League season with just two wins to show for their troubles.
