Club Legend Predicts Man Utd’s Transfer Plan Ahead Of January Window

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has revealed the club’s transfer plans ahead of the winter transfer window in the New Year.

In his recent interview as monitored by the Daily Mail, Gary Neville said that his former club will boost the playing squad when the transfer market reopens in the next one month.

According to the Manchester United legend, the Red Devils boss would be targeting a new attacker to boost his squad on the attacking front.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be backed by the club in the winter transfer window.

The Red Devils are expected to provide Solskjaer with the needed funds to prosecute the January transfer window.

According to former Manchester United teammate Gary Neville, Solskjaer will go for a mobile attacker rather than a normal attacker in the January window.

He said that the Manchester United manager will be targeting mobile attackers like Roberto Firmino of Liverpool or Son Heung-Min of Tottenham Hotspur rather than normal attackers like former player Romelu Lukaku or Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

Solskjaer and his Manchester United players have struggled a bit since the start of the new Premier League season with just two wins to show for their troubles.

Watford Eyeing January Transfer For ‘Korean Van Dijk’

Premier League strugglers Watford are reportedly interested in a move for Beijing Gouan defender Kim Min-Jae ahead of the winter transfer window in a few weeks’ time.

According to the Watford Observer, the Hornets want to sign the player dubbed ‘Korean Van Dijk’ mainly due to the similarities with the Liverpool defender.

Kim Min-Jae also known as ‘the Monster’ is a South Korean international having scored twice in his 25 appearances for his country.

The South Korean center back has produced several impressive performances to propel Beijing Gouan into the equation for the Chinese Super League title with three games to go.

Beijing Gouan are one of three clubs battling for the league title as they are in third position and two points off top spot currently occupied by Guangzhou Evergrande.

Watford could have a big task on their hands in the bid to lure the Korean Van Dijk to the Premier League.

According to the Chinese Super League rules, there must be at least one homegrown player in each team and Kim Min-Jae is the only one in Beijing Gouan.

Watford have been in the relegation zone since the start of the season and are in need of defensive reinforcements after shipping 23 goals in the first 12 league games.

Manchester United To Compete With Arsenal And Liverpool For 7-goal Striker

Manchester United are impressed with West Brom youngster Jovan Malcolm following his goalscoring exploits for the Baggies U18 side which have seen him scored seven goals in the five matches.

The highlight of his performance so far was when he scored four goals against Liverpool in one of the U18 Premier League fixtures.

It is believed that the highly-rated youngster is attracting Solskjaer’s attention but the Red Devils will need to contend with the Gunners for his services.

According to reports via The Mirror, the Gunners are keeping close tabs on the youngster as they look to upgrade their academy this summer.

Liverpool are also in the race to sign the player as he caught the club’s attention after scoring four goals against the young Reds.

The Merseyside club haven’t been enjoying much success when it comes to their youth teams but they hope things will change this season.

However, West Brom are reportedly doing everything possible to retain the 16-year-old beyond this campaign as they hope to give him some first-team actions next season if they return back to the country’s topflight League.

As it stands, none of the interested clubs has made an official approach towards signing the youngster, but that could change as soon as the January transfer window commences.

Arsenal fans have had their say on the three options to replace underfire manager Unai Emery in the Gunners’ dugout.

The Gunners Faithfuls polled 1,300 votes to choose their top three candidates to replace Unai Emery as the Arsenal manager.

The Arsenal fans voted on Football London to determine their managerial preferences for the Gunners dugout with former midfielder Mikel Arteta amassing almost one-third of the votes.

Mikel Arteta is the assistant manager to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and the Spaniard is highly rated in the footballing world though he’s yet to handle a managerial job in his short career on the sidelines.

The former Arsenal and Everton midfielder was linked with the Gunners job last summer by Unai Emery but his compatriot has not been able to live up to the expectations from fans and club bosses.

Unai Emery signed a two-year contract when he became the Arsenal manager last summer with the option of a third year and it looks like this season would be the final campaign for the three-time Europa League winner at Arsenal.

Ex-Juventus boss Maximiliano Allegri resigned from the Old Lady job in the summer and he came second during the aforementioned polls with 17.5% of the votes ahead of Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers who came third with 17.2% of the total votes.

Arsenal fans have unanimously agreed that Unai Emery is not the right man for the managerial job at the club.

This is a result of the poll conducted by Football London amongst the Arsenal fans with 97.5% reaching the conclusion that Spanish tactician Unai Emery is not the man to take the North London giants forward.

They want the former Valencia and Almeria manager to leave the club either this season or in the summer.

Unai Emery is a man under pressure to hold on to his position as the Arsenal manager after leading the Gunners to their worst start in the Premier League era with just 17 points from the 12 games played.

Arsenal have won four Premier League games all season with their last win coming at the start of last month against South Coast outfit Bournemouth whom they beat 1-0 courtesy the early header from summer signing David Luiz.

It was the Brazilian defender’s first goal for Arsenal since joining them from London rivals Chelsea in the summer in a deal worth £8m.

Arsenal and Unai Emery were beaten 2-0 by Leicester City in their last game in the Premier League and that has taken their winless run to five games in all competitions.

Italian champions Juventus are said to be interested in a move for young Manchester United attacker Tahith Chong ahead of the January transfer window.

According to CalcioMercato, Juventus want to sign the young Dutchman in January despite the fact that he’ll have six months left on his current Manchester United contract.

Manchester United Academy graduate Tahith Chong is not ready to extend his contract at the Theatre of Dreams as he has not been excited with the playing time handed to him this season.

Man City Lodge Referee Complaints After Liverpool Clash

Premier League champions Manchester City have lodged a complaint on centre referee Michael Oliver for his performance during the game against Liverpool at the weekend.

According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester City have lodged a complaint with the Premier League over the performance of Michael Oliver during the Liverpool game at Anfield on Sunday evening.

Manchester City were aggrieved about two penalty calls during the game and that prompted them to lodge the said complaint 24 hours after the game.

The Premier League champions felt they should have had a penalty for the handball against Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold before the Reds went to the other end to take the lead through Brazilian international midfielder Fabinho.

The second penalty appeal also happened against the aforementioned Trent Alexander-Arnold in the second half of the Liverpool game.

Fabinho scored the first goal of the game as early as the seventh minute before Mohamed Salah added a second goal six minutes later.

Liverpool added a third goal in the second half through the in-form Sadio Mane who has now scored seven league goals.

Manchester City pulled one back in the last 12 minutes through Bernardo Silva but it turned out to be a mere consolation for the English champions.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been appointed into his first job since leaving the Gunners last summer.

The Frenchman has been appointed the chief of global football development at FIFA and he will be in charge of football development on the world stage.

Wenger will oversee football development in both men’s and women’s games worldwide including coaching programmes, training programmes and coach education programmes.

The former Arsenal manager has been linked with the vacant Bayern Munich job but the latest development puts an end to those rumours.

His appointment at FIFA was confirmed by the football body on Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger is not the only manager associated with the vacant Bayern Munich job.

Europa League: Eintracht Frankfurt Skipper To Miss Arsenal Game

Eintracht Frankfurt captain David Abraham will miss the Europa League title with Premier League giants Arsenal later this month after he was given a lengthy ban.

David Abraham has been suspended for seven weeks after his push on Freiburg manager Christian Streich during their German Bundesliga clash at the weekend.

The Eintracht Frankfurt Skipper shoved Freiburg manager Streich as he attempted to retrieve a ball for a throw-in with his team trailing hosts Freiburg 1-0 in added time.

The incident led to a massive brawl between the two sets of players and David Abraham was thereafter sent off.

Apart from the seven-week ban given to him, the Eintracht Frankfurt captain was also fined to the tune of €25,000 (£21,410).

David Abraham will now miss the remaining German Bundesliga games this year as well as the last two group games in Group F of the Europa League.

David Abraham will miss the Europa League trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on November 28 in what’s a Matchday Five clash before sitting out the Matchday Six game at home to Vitoria Guimares FC of Portugal.
