Chelsea To Rival Man Utd For Experience EPL Defender

Reigning Europa League champions Chelsea will reportedly battle with Premier League rivals Manchester United for the right to sign Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
This is according to the publication from 90min which revealed that Chelsea will have to see off Manchester United in their quest to sign England international defender Ben Chilwell.
It was revealed that Chelsea will have to pay as much as 50 million pounds for Ben Chilwell if they want to sign him next summer.
Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are the left-backs at Chelsea at the moment.
The Chelsea left-backs are not the answer in the long-term according to the aforementioned publication.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard sees Ben Chilwell as the long-term answer at left-back.
The backup option for Ben Chilwell is Blas Riveros who plays for Swiss top flight side FC Basel.
Ben Chilwell came through the ranks at Leicester City before making his debut for the former Premier League champions.
He has been able to establish himself as the first choice left-back at Leicester City.
The English defender has been one of the best left-backs in the new Premier League season as he has been able to help the Foxes to third spot on the league table.
