Liverpool are the reigning European champions and they have the longest unbeaten run in the Premier League.

The Reds were able to extend that run on the back of the late draw earned at Manchester United in a week nine clash in the Premier League.

Liverpool went into the game against their rivals at the weekend on the back of a 25-match unbeaten run dating back to January 2019.

The Premier League leaders lost 2-1 to hosts and title rivals Manchester City on the third of January.

They were able to extend that unbeaten run to 26 games after the 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

England international Adam Lallana came off the bench to rescue a point for Liverpool against their arch rivals.

Manchester United had earlier taken a controversial lead in the first half through Marcus Rashford.

England international Rashford finished off a flowing counterattack to give the hosts a well deserved first half lead.

VAR Technology gave the goal despite a slight foul on Liverpool attacker Divock Origi by Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof.

Liverpool were on the receiving end of VAR in quick succession after star forward Sadio Mane scored only for it to be chalked off for handball.

The Reds were able to salvage a point in the last ten minutes through Adam Lallana.
