Manchester United are not just in the 12th position on the Premier League standings, they are also 18 goals behind their neighbors Manchester City who have scored 27 goals this season.
Nine goals from eight matches are unacceptable for United’s standard and Solskjaer is doing something to change the situation at Old Trafford.
The Norwegian boss is linked with some top strikers in the world including Mario Mandzukic, Zlatan Ibramovich, and Ligue 1 star Moussa Dembele.

It was reported by the Mirror that the Premier League outfit are close to reaching a deal with Juventus for Croatia’s 33-year-old Mandzukic. But how are they faring in their mission to lure Lyon’s in-form striker Dembele to Old Trafford in January?
It is believed that Lyon are asking too much for the player’s services as they could place a huge £71m price tag on the France U21 international.
According to the report, United won’t give in to the asking price, but negotiations are still ongoing between both clubs.
As for Ibramovich, nothing concrete is coming out of Old Trafford as Solskjaer isn’t ready to re-sign the Sweden international who was with the Red Devils during Mourinho’s regime.
