Four European Clubs Join United In The Race for 195-goal Striker

It is believed that Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keenly interested in bringing Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic to Old Trafford but the player’s salary demand could see the Norwegian retract his interest in the Croatian star.
According to reports making headlines in England, the club have surprisingly developed an interest in 32-year-old PSG striker Edinson Cavani as they are unsure whether their move for Serie A striker Mario Mandzukic will be successful or not.
However, they face a stiff challenge from top European clubs who are equally looking at Cavani’s direction for an upgrade to their team in January.

Spanish media L’Equipe claim that La Liga side Atletico Madrid are planning a January swoop for the experienced striker, while Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan are already in the race for his signature.
Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri reportedly sees the Uruguayan as the perfect replacement for Mandzukic, should the 33-year-old striker decide to part ways with the Scudetto Champions.
Cavani is expected to command a huge price tag in January judging by his goalscoring form which has seen him found the back of the net on 195 occasions for PSG since 2013.
