It’s no more news that Manchester United are interested in Denmark international midfielder Christian Eriksen and they are willing to make a move for his services despite failing in their mission to snatch him from the North London club during the summer window.

The Red Devils are reportedly keeping a close watch on the player as they hope to reignite their interest in him during the next transfer window.

Unfortunately, German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have reportedly joined in the race for the 27-year-old attack-minded midfielder.

Report from The SPORT 1 suggests that the Bavarians are set to compete with United for Eriksen as they have met with the player’s agent to discuss their chances of signing the Danish ahead of their Premier League counterparts.

Eriksen is in the final year of his contract with Tottenham and he is keen on leaving Mauricio Pochettino’s side at the end of the season having spent 6 years.

If the report is something to trust, then United might need to increase start transfer negotiations with the player’s representative as soon as possible in order to avoid losing him to the Bundesliga giants.
