Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona are interested in a move for highly rated Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz according to the latest reports in the British media.
Kai Havertz has a contract that does not end until 2022 at Bayer Leverkusen but he could still leave the German Bundesliga club.
The German international has hinted that he could look to move on from Bayer Leverkusen next summer.
The news of the Barcelona interest in his services was revealed by a publication from the stables of the Daily Mirror.
Apart from Barcelona, other major European sides like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested in him.

It was revealed that Barcelona scouts were in attendance as Germany lost 4-2 to the Netherlands in a Euro 2020 qualifier last month.
He made a second half appearance for the Germans who were beaten at home by their old foes.
The report of their scouting said that Kai Havertz is the best young footballer in Germany at the moment.
On their part, Spanish giants Real Madrid see him as the third choice on their list of midfield targets.
Kai Havertz is third on their transfer list behind Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen and Ajax Amsterdam star Donny Van Der Beek.
