Manchester United summer Daniel James wasted no time to settle down at Old Trafford after completing his move from Swansea prior to the start of the season.

The English youngster has been a mainstay in Solskjaer’s starting lineup and former England international Danny Mills is full of praise for the 21-year-old midfielder.

According to Mills while speaking to Football Insider, the former England international is happy with the player’s performance and his impact on the team since his move to Old Trafford.

He praised James’ creativity in the middle of the pitch and lauded the youngster’s goalscoring ability which has seen him scored three goals from eight games so far.

“Dan James is probably the only one when you look at him, he’s almost become the main man at Manchester United,” he said.

Though Mills is happy with the player’s bright start to his United career, the Englishman condemned United recent form which has seen them recorded just eight points from eight league matches.

“Suddenly now he’s almost the first name on the team sheet and he’s the go-to guy to create chances and score goals. That speaks volumes about Manchester United and the situation Manchester United is in.” he concluded.
