Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United want to sign two defenders ahead of the 2020/21 season according to the report from the stables of popular media outlet Goal.
It was revealed that Manchester United want to sign the defensive duo of West Ham United star Declan Rice and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
England international Declan Rice is a utility player that could operate as a centre back and as a central midfielder.
Declan Rice is seen as a potential replacement for midfielders Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini by Manchester United.
Ander Herrera left Manchester United in the summer and the Spaniard has since joined French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on a free transfer.

Marouane Fellaini had earlier left Manchester United for Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG during the January transfer window this year.
Manchester United have not replaced the two midfielders since they left and Declan Rice would more than plug the gap left by the two midfielders.
The aforementioned report also said that Manchester United want to sign a perfect centre back partner for Harry Maguire and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly could be the man for the job.
Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly is a long-term transfer target for Manchester United.
