Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have released their squad for the league game against Sevilla later this weekend.

Barcelona host Sevilla at the Nou Camp in what’s a week eight clash in the Spanish top flight and manager Ernesto Valverde has named the players for the game.

Ernesto Valverde is not the most popular man amongst the Barcelona faithfuls after a less than impressive start to the new season both in the Spanish La Liga and the Champions League.

Barcelona started the weekend two points off the top spot held by Real Madrid but that has increased to five points following Los Merengues’ win over Granada.

Real Madrid beat Granada 4-2 at home to open up a four points gap at the Spanish La Liga summit.

The leaders have a five-point lead over Barcelona at the moment but that could reduce to two points if the Spanish champions beat Sevilla.

Barcelona warmed up for the game with a 2-1 comeback win over Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan in the Champions League in midweek.

Barcelona Squad: Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Jean-Clair Todibo, Arthur Melo, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Moussa Dembele, Neto, Antoine Griezmann, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie De Jong, Arturo Vidal, Carles Perez, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo.
