Barcelona Picks Interest In United’s Onetime Wonderkid.

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford was one of the best youngsters in England during his breakout season at Old Trafford in 2015-16 season.

The English forward was obviously talented so much that he was compared to Cristiano Ronaldo and many other United legends as at the time.

Four years later, things seems to have changed as Rashford is currently not in his best form and he could be out of the Manchester club sooner than expected.

The youngster has reportedly attracted Barcelona’s interest as the Catalans continue to find a potential goalscorer who will replace aging Argentina goal-poacher Lionel Messi when he retires.

According to The Athletic, the 21-year-old striker, who has scored 55 United goals, is seen as the perfect addition to the Catalans judging by his goalscoring record for club and country.

However, it is very much unclear if United would want to let go of such talented striker in the summer considering the fact that the team need more in-form and quality players at the final half of the pitch.

Meanwhile, United manager Solskjaer could make a shock move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane in January, that’s according to reports emanating from Old Trafford.

The Tottenham striker was sometime said to be United’s prime target it turned out to be a mere rumor as Pochettino failed to sanction his move out of North London.
