Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has revealed that the Chelsea duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori said about playing for Nigeria.

Rohr talked about Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori in an exclusive interview with BBC Sport.

According to him, the two Chelsea players said that they don’t want to discuss their international options at the moment.

Gernot Rohr was speaking ahead of the high profile friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Brazil on October 13 in Singapore.

The Super Eagles head coach said that plans had been made in the event that the two Chelsea players were not available for selection.

Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori can both play for the Three Lions of England as well as the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The two Chelsea players have already represented England at various youth levels.

Tammy Abraham has also featured for the England senior team but he’s still available to play for other countries including his country of origin Nigeria since he’s yet to make a competitive appearance for the English team.

He has been in very good form for Chelsea in the Premier League this season after netting seven goals in as many games to make him the joint second topscorer alongside Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and behind topscorer Sergio Aguero of Manchester City who has eight goals.
