Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United have a new problem to contend with on the injury front following the news that star player Paul Pogba could miss the upcoming games against Dutch club AZ Alkmaar and Newcastle United in the Europa League and the Premier League respectively.

This is according to the publication from the stables of popular media channel ESPN which revealed that Pogba aggravated an ankle problem during the last game, a Premier League clash at home to fellow Europa League campaigners Arsenal on Monday night.

It as revealed that the French World Cup winner complained to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about the ankle injury after the game against the Gunners at Old Trafford.

Pogba was a doubt for the Arsenal game but he was able to make the starting XI for the match which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Manchester United Academy graduate played the entire duration of the game as Manchester United were forced to a score draw by their opponents.

Paul Pogba was outshone in the Manchester United midfielder by young Scotland international star Scott McTominay who scored the lone goal for the Red Devils in the first half.

His goal was cancelled out by the second half strike from Arsenal attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
