Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised the quality of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the Premier League clash between the two former champions on Monday night.

The two top four contenders met at Old Trafford in a week seven encounter which ended in a 1-1 draw.

After the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to Sky Sports reporters about the aforementioned Aubameyang.

The Manchester United manager was full of praise for the Gabonese international who showed his quality once again during the game at Old Trafford.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang produced an improvised finish to hit goal number seven for the season in the Premier League and eight in all competitions.

His goal rescued a point for Arsenal who had trailed to a first half strike from young Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay until that point.

Aubameyang was awarded the goal on 58 minutes with the help of VAR Technology.

He was flagged up for offside by assistant referee Scott Ledger but replays showed that the Gabonese international player was well onside.

The controversial goal took his tally to seven goals and he’s now level with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

Only Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero (8 goals) has scored more goals than Aubameyang in the Premier League this season.
