North London giants Arsenal have received a big injury blow ahead of their Europa League meeting with Belgian top flight side Standard Liege.
This is as a result of the injury sustained by summer signing Kieran Tierney.
The Arsenal left-back has already withdrawn from the Scotland squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers as a result of the injury.
The 22-year-old is a doubt for the Gunners ahead of the home game against Standard Liege at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
Kieran Tierney became an Arsenal player in the summer following his big money move from Scottish champions Celtic.
He joined the Gunners while recuperating from the hip surgery that he had at the end of last season.
Kieran Tierney didn’t play for Arsenal since signing until last week when he made his debut against English Championship side Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The Scottish left-back played over 70 minutes as Arsenal booked their spot in the Carabao Cup fourth round by thrashing former European champions Nottingham Forest 5-0 courtesy the goals from Gabriel Martinelli (2), Rob Holding, Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock.
