United’s Flop Hit The Ground Running In An Unexpected Fashion

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be regretting his decision to sanction Alexis Sanchez’s loan move to Inter Milan after the player scored two goals in two minutes for his new suitor on Saturday.

The Chilean forward was obviously out of form during his days at Old Trafford as he managed just one league goal last season and he was loaned to the San Siro Stadium before the start of the campaign.

In his first start for Antonio Conte’s side, the former Arsenal man opened the scoring for Inter Milan in the 20th minute and he doubled the scoreline two minutes later.

Though he was sent off for simulation in the second half of the encounter, his goals were enough to give the San Siro outfit the maximum points.

Unfortunately for Solskjaer, he will lineup against Arsenal without an experienced center-forward due to Marcus Rashford’s injury and Romelu Lukaku’s move to Inter during the summer.

Anthony Martial is also a major doubt for the encounter as he is yet to reach full fitness until after the upcoming international break according to Solskjaer.

United will rely on young teenager Mason Greenwood to get the goals against the North London club after his impressive display against Rochdale during the week.
