Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford on Monday as they hope to return to winning ways after their shocking 2-0 defeat to West Ham last weekend.
Though Solskjaer is faced with many injury problems ahead of the encounter, the manager will be happy with the fact that many of his injured players will be available for selection next month.
In his pre-match conference, the former United player told reporters that at least two of his injured players will be fully fit after next month’s international break.
According to the Manchester United manager, longterm absentee Anthony Martial will be back after the international break while Phil Jones is equally on his way to full recovery.
“I don’t think we’ll see Anthony before the international break. No, I don’t think so.
”Phil will be out until after the international break and, do you know, you have to count these after every game but I think that’s it.” he said.
As for Pogba, who picked up a minor ankle injury during Wednesday’s EFL Cup victory over Rochdale, it remains unknown if the Frenchman will be available for selection against Unai Emery’s men.
“There might be one or two who have not really come back. Paul (Pogba) was really struggling with his ankle as it was swollen, so let’s see how that repairs. He got 90 minutes but was sore towards the end again.”
Finally, the Norwegian tactician confirms that England fullback Luke Shaw is doing great in the recuperating room, and he could get some game-time on Monday. He said: “Luke is improving so, hopefully, we’ll see him (against Arsenal).”
