Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has had his say on the Carabao Cup fourth round draw with Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The former Blues midfielder reacted to the draw made on Wednesday night during his post-match press conference after the Grimsby Town game.

According to him, he’s happy to be hosting Manchester United before adding that it would be a big test for the West London giants.

Chelsea will host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge for the right to secure a place in the Carabao Cup fifth round.

The mammoth clash is one of two major fourth round ties in the Carabao Cup this season and it would take place on the last week of next month.

Lampard and Chelsea booked their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup by thrashing English League Two side Grimsby Town 7-1 at home.

It was the first home win of the Frank Lampard managerial era at Chelsea at the fifth time of asking.

Chelsea had played three league games and one Champions League match at home without success until the Grimsby Town clash on Wednesday night.

On their part, Manchester United beat English League One side Rochdale 5-3 on penalties to seal their spot in the fourth round after they had played 1-1 at full-time.
