West London side Chelsea will resume action in the Carabao Cup against Bournemouth on Wednesday night with the expectation to move to the semi-finals of the competition.
The Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is having his first spell in England and will be looking forward to winning his first silverware this season, not minding the Carabao Cup which he has actually come all the way.
There is no doubt that Chelsea are in good form as they have won their last three games across all competition which gives them the edge over their Cup opponents later today.
However, Belgium international Eden Hazard is likely to miss out of the game as he is nursing a knock which the Blues side will not want to risk while Spanish striker Alvaro Morata is ruled out as a result of the knee injury he sustained to add to Victor Moses who is still out.
Howbeit, Willy Caballero has always taken charge of the Carabao Cup and that could be unchanged in the middle of the poles.
Davide Zappacosta, Emerson Palmieri, Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen could also be entrusted with the Blues defence to handle while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley could get the nod at the middle.
Also in the attack, Maurizio Sarri could settle for Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Willian in the 4-3-3 formation.
