Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey marked his first start for his new club Juventus with a goal after finding the back of the net during the comeback win over newly promoted team Hellas Verona in their Italian Serie A clash on Saturday evening.
Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri gave Aaron Ramsey his first start for the Italian champions against Hellas Verona at home and the Welsh international star saw his team go behind inside the first 20 minutes through Miguel Veloso.
Ramsey leveled proceedings for Juventus in the 31st minute for his first goal for the Old Lady since his free transfer move in the summer.
Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo then gave the hosts the lead for the first time in the game after converting a 49th minute penalty.
Ronaldo’s penalty proved to be crucial for Juventus as it turned out to be the winning goal against Hellas Verona that finished the game with ten men after Albanian centre back Marash Kumbulla was sent off with two yellow cards at full-time.
The 2-1 win over Hellas took Juventus to the top of the table in the Italian Serie A with 10 points until the Milan Derby.
