It has been revealed that West London outfit Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri never intended to play two youngsters Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek when he handed them their first start this season.

It has been revealed that he was forced to do so by the club owner Roman Abramovich and there is no doubt that the decision worked out as they gave interesting performances in the opportunities handed to them.

The two lads have now been given the nod in their last two games with suggestions that it could continue because of the influence of the Russian billionaire.

ESPN pundit Craig Burley who gave this revelation stated that the Italian boss did not want to give an opportunity to the two players for reasons unknown despite his claim that they are not good enough for a start.

He noted that the fans pressure could have contributed to the decision by the manager and there will be no going back until the end of the season.

However, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked away from the Stamford Bridge due to the lack of playing time which has caught the attention of the club owner who is keen to have the star player remain.
