Chelsea have been boosted with the news that young midfielder Mason Mount has returned to training ahead of the Premier League meeting with Liverpool on Sunday.
Mason Mount was doubtful for the game as confirmed by Chelsea boss Frank Lampard during his pre-match press conference on Friday morning but the recently capped England international returned to training on Friday afternoon according to the UK Metro.
The young Chelsea midfielder is now expected to be fit for the league game billed for Stamford Bridge.
Mason Mount has been one of the top performers for Chelsea this season and he sustained an ankle problem during the Champions League clash with Spanish La Liga side Valencia in midweek.

Rodrigo Moreno scored the only goal of the game for the visiting Valencia team.
Frank Lampard and Chelsea would be hoping to bounce back from the defeat to Valencia when they take on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The Reds have won all their five league games this season and they have a two-point lead at the top of the table.
