Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has the right credentials to manage in the Premier League according to close friend Robert Pires.
Thierry Henry and Robert Pires were former teammates for both Arsenal and the French national team.
The two Arsenal legends were part of the Invincibles which went through the entire Premier League season without a single defeat during the 2014/15 campaign.
Robert Pires talked about Henry in a chat with Reuters as he said that the former Belgian national team assistant manager is waiting for another big opportunity after his failed attempt at former club AS Monaco.
Thierry Henry left his job as a Sky Sports pundit and as the assistant manager to Belgium national team boss Roberto Martinez to take up the managerial post at French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco.
He replaced Leonardo Jardim in October 2018 only for him to last just three months in the job.
Thierry Henry was replaced by Leonardo Jardim in January 2019.
He has been without a managerial job since leaving AS Monaco though he has been linked with various clubs.
Roberto Pires also told Reuters that he met with Thierry Henry during the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium earlier this month.
