Former Chelsea defender Robert Huth has questioned the ability of Nigerian attacker Kelechi Iheanacho.
Robert Huth talked about Super Eagles player Iheanacho while he was on BBC Radio 5 Live.
According to him, Kelechi Iheanacho does not have the quality to replace Jamie Vardy as the lone striker for Leicester City.
Kelechi Iheanacho is in his third season at Leicester City following his big money move from Premier League champions Manchester City.
Leicester City paid around £25m to sign Iheanacho from Leicester City.
Since his transfer, Kelechi Iheanacho has not been able to nail down a starting spot in the Leicester City team.
He has not been able to displace England international Jamie Vardy as the lone striker in the starting XI at the King Power Stadium.
Kelechi Iheanacho has hardly featured for Leicester City since Brendan Rodgers was appointed as the replacement for French tactician Claude Puel at the club.
His plight at Leicester City was further compounded this summer with the signing of Spanish attacker Ayoze Perez for £30m.
Ayoze Perez joined the Foxes from fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
Iheanacho paid dearly for his lack of playing time at Leicester City after he missed out on the Super Eagles squad that finished theirs at this summer’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
Antonio Conte to return to Chelsea for this player
Emerging reports reveal that Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is already making plans to snap up Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea with discussions between the two clubs already ongoing.
The Blues defender has not been a regular at Chelsea having had just 13 starts this season because he has not been favoured by manager Frank Lampard.
Emerson Palmieri has already hinted he could return to the Italian Serie A outfit after finding life uneasy in England with a reunion with Italian boss, Antonio Conte possible.

Conte is a big fan of the Chelsea defender and we will not forget that the Italian boss signed him to Chelsea in 2018 for a fee of £18 million. There are could still be a reunion between them.
The Inter Milan boss has been making efforts to rebuild the team and beat off competition from Juventus. He has, therefore, been busy with buys especially after securing Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, and Christian Eriksen. He seems not to be stopping at that.
Should Antonio Conte succeed with a deal for Emerson Palmieri, he will be the second from Chelsea after Nigerian international Victor Moses. This will help him have familiar faces at the club to make the building of the team easy.
Man City in line to sign Chelsea reject
North London outfit Chelsea were unable to find a place for young defender Nathan Ake, hence had him sold to Bournemouth after a loan spell.
The rejected player seems to have become a demand for Man City as they are reported to be interested in landing him with talks already opened.
Since the exit of Vincent Kompany, Man City have not been finding it good with their defensive department and will be seeking for all options available to be able to compete and bounce back after losing the EPL title to Liverpool.

Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones have not been giving their best while an option of David Alaba from Bayern Munch is being threatened by his high age demand. The same applies to Napoli’s Kalidou Kalibaly whose transfer fee is also high.
Nathan Ake might be the best option for Man City with manager Pep Guardiola hoping to work with him, having watched him play.
Chelsea have got a buy-back clause on Nathan Ake but that may not be a threat to Man City who are desperate at the moment for a defender.
Nathan Ake could cost £40 million but Man City are positive that Bournemouth will be forced to beat it down if the player desires a move.
Klopp raises alarm over Chelsea, United “coup” plan
Current English Premier League champions Liverpool are enjoying their reign and it would last until the coming season.
The Reds under manager Jurgen Klopp ended the 30-years wait after delivering the EPL title to the fans with seven games to spare. That is, of course, dominance and they have been taking a shot at it for the last two years.
However, manager Jurgen Klopp has raised an alarm that before now, it looked like his side and Man City were dominating but there are already efforts by Chelsea and United to overtake them.

The German boss stated that he expects a four-team race in the coming season, explaining that a team like Man United have made one or two signings and that has helped to bring the best out of the team. Chelsea have also confirmed two additions to their team and that will no doubt help to make them better.
Meanwhile, he hinted that his team will not be carried away with the praise showered on them for the success this season but they will work hard like other clubs to ensure they achieve as well.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is already making efforts to convince the club management to help equip his team in the summer transfer window so they can get better.
Ed Woodward delivers damning Jadon Sancho ‘judgement’
It is no longer news that Man United are interested in the signature of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and are ready to make a bid for him.
The hindrance to a possible deal has been the price tag on the England international which the Red Devils are not willing to meet.
With an agreement not seeming possible between both clubs, it is claimed that United chief Ed Woodward is already making up his mind has pronounced a judgement on the matter.
According to The Express, the Man United chief is not willing to pay more than £50 million for the 20-year-old and already considering to forget a deal for him.

It is claimed that Chelsea and Brazilian International Willian has been fingered as an alternative to Jadon Sancho and could even be cheaper.
The Brazilian international is set to leave Chelsea and Man United could attempt to snap him up.
Chelsea are willing to keep the star winger but his request for a 3 years contract extension has been blatantly turned down for age factor.
However, owing to his quality, he could be of good help to the Red Devils for a few years and that is heavily been considered by Ed Woodward, according to reports.
Good news!!! Arsenal to make top-four?
Champions League football for Arsenal is still very much possible if analysis by Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is anything to go by.
The current log table makes it difficult to determine who will make the top four aside Liverpool that have been confirmed as winners of the league with seven games to spare and second-placed Man City.
According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, seven teams still stand the chance to join Liverpool and Man City as EPL representatives in the Champions League next season, noting that the race is still very much on.

While noting that Leicester City and Chelsea currently hold the third and fourth position respectively, the former Red Devils player affirmed that his side still stands chance as well as Tottenham and ninth-placed Arsenal.
He noted that the competition is good as fans can’t wait to know the fate of their clubs for the Champions League.
With a few games left, United will be hoping to overtake Chelsea or Leicester for a Champions League spot.
Arsenal have not been in their best since they returned back from the Covid-19 compulsory break and they will need a miracle to break into the top-four. The Mikel Arteta men will have to win all remaining games and hope the opposite happens to those already ahead.
Chelsea reach out to world-class defender ahead of next season
The summer transfer window is almost fully active and clubs have been making efforts to bolster their squad with Chelsea making efforts not to be left behind.
The latest report on The Express claims that the Blues have reached out to Bayern Munich defender David Alaba over his availability.
It was earlier reported that Chelsea were interested in Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell but the club seems not ready to part ways with him. A whopping sum of £70 million has been splashed on the player and it seems the Blues are not willing to meet the price.
David Alaba is now the focus for Chelsea according to reports to equip the left-back position.

There are hopes that new faces will be seen at the Stamford Bridge next season with the club also looking to bring in new faces.
Pedro has been confirmed to leave Chelsea at the end of the season to pitch his tent with Italian Serie A side AS. Roma.
Brazilian International Willian has also been confirmed to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.
Stop the celebration, this player is no longer coming to Old Trafford
If emerging reports are to be true, Man united will no longer land the signature of Kalidou Koulibaly as he might be heading to the other side of Manchester.
The Red Devils have long been interested in the service of the star player and have failed in several attempts in the past.
A renowned sports journalist, Duncan Castle has stated that Kalidou Koulibaly will be leaving his club, Napoli at the end of the season, and manager Gennaro Gattuso is aware of this fact.

He added that Kalidou Koulibaly is keen to leave the Italian Serie A for a new challenge and the Premier League is his preferred destination. Man United are known before now to be interested in his signature but Chelsea and Man City have now indicated an interest in the deal.
Duncan Castle stated the player favours a move to Man City than any other club as he wishes to work under manager Pep Guardiola. This adds to the fact that Man City could be looking for options at the center-back which makes him a good fit because of his strength.
It is also understood that Napoli will be looking to earn about £70 million from the star defender but it is unclear if Man City will be ready to invest such an amount for the Napoli player.
Chelsea Stars Right To Back Kante On COVID Stance. Yes OR No
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been able to build his reputation as one of the best defensive midfielders in world football. He was a relatively unknown quantity at Leicester City before his massive contribution to the miracle of the 2015/16 Premier League campaign.
Kante was a major act alongside Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez as Leicester City overcame title-winning odds of 5000/1 to pull off a league title win. The Frenchman formed a potent midfield partnership with Danny Drinkwater who’s also a Chelsea player though he is presently at fellow Premier League side Aston Villa whom he joined on loan in January.
Apart from his quality, N’Golo Kante has also been very consistent until this season. He has rarely been injured, whether it was at Leicester City or at Chelsea who signed him shortly after his Leicester City heroics in 2016. The 2019/20 season has been a disappointing one for Kante in comparison to the four seasons before it.
Kante won the title in his first season at Leicester City during the 2015/16 season before repeating the feat during the feat upon his Chelsea transfer. He went on to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia with the French national team as well as the 2019 Europa League title.
His injury problems have impacted on his once admired consistency in recent months dating back to the Watford game on May 5, 2019. The genesis of his many injuries started with a hamstring problem during that game before a subsequently picked up knee issue almost derailed his appearance in the Europa League final match with Arsenal last year.
The 2019/20 season was been injury filled for Kante and Chelsea until the Coronavirus pandemic halted football in March. The player is now expected to miss the rest of the season as from next month when Premier League football will finally resume as a result of Coronavirus and this decision has been backed by both the club and his teammates.
Kante has not tested positive for the virus but the Frenchman had respiratory issues during the lockdown and he’s almost scared to play football again professionally with the threat of Coronavirus still lurking around. He has a history with respiratory and heart-related issues especially after he fainted in front of his Blues teammates some years ago before he was cleared of any heart problem.
He is a major player for Chelsea who are in the hunt for top four and Champions League football for next season but his teammates have decided that the best thing is to prioritise him and his health over football as pointed out by Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero earlier this week.
