Chelsea winger Willian has sent a strong message to the club after he said that he wants to stay in West London beyond his current contract.
Willian has less than a year left on his Chelsea contract at the moment.
He told the London Evening Standard about his desire to stay at Chelsea ahead of the Blues opening game against Spanish La Liga side Valencia in the Champions League.
Willian was the subject of several transfer bids from Spanish champions Barcelona in January but Chelsea held firm in the face of the interest from the Catalans.
The Brazilian international star was also the subject of transfer interest from Atletico Madrid FC of Spain and French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has turned to the young players at the start of his managerial career at the club and it remains to be seen whether he will sanction a new deal for Willian who’s on the wrong side of 30.
Willian has had a stop-start season till date but he was part of the Chelsea team that thrashed hosts Wolves 5-2 in their Premier League clash at the weekend.
Tammy Abraham was the star of the game after his treble performance.
