Premier League giants have reportedly reached an agreement with Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid over midfielder N’Golo Kante.
This is according to Spanish media outlet Defensa Central which revealed that Chelsea have an agreement with Real Madrid for them to be informed if the Blues decide to sell the French World Cup winner.
It was revealed that Real Madrid failed to sign Kante in the summer as Chelsea were not ready to lose his services especially after the exit of Eden Hazard to the same Spanish club.
Real Madrid signed the Belgian national team talisman in a deal said to be for an initial fee of €100m.
Eden Hazard had one year left on his then contract at Chelsea thus making it difficult for the Blues to hold on to his services.
For Kante, the situation is different as he recently signed a new Chelsea deal at the end of last year.
He signed a five-year Chelsea contract in December 2018 to make him the highest earner at the club.
N’Golo Kante earns £290,000 on a weekly basis at Chelsea.
He has not had the best of starts to the new Premier League season as the Frenchman has been battling with an injury.
