Arsenal manager Unai Emery has hinted that record signing Nicolas Pepe could be in line for his first start since his big money move this summer when the Gunners host Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal will play the Clarets in the first game on Saturday.
When asked about Pepe during his pre-match press conference ahead of the Burnley match, Unai Emery revealed that the Ivorian international winger is getting better in training after a disrupted preseason program.
Nicolas Pepe came late for preseason after his participation at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.

He was part of the Ivory Coast team that reached the quarterfinals at the tournament before they were beaten on penalties by eventual winners Algeria after the two teams played out a 1-1 draw at the end of 120 minutes.
Pepe linked up with Arsenal earlier this summer after completing his move from French Ligue 1 outfit Lille.
The 24-year-old was signed by the Gunners for a fee believed to be around €80m (£72m).
He’s the record signing at Arsenal ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who signed for the club in January 2018.
The Aubameyang transfer fee is believed to be around £56m as agreed by Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
