Manchester United summer target James Maddison has discussed his future in a recent interview but did not give a great deal away, though this could be a little hint he’d be willing to join Man United in the future.

The 22-year-old English professional has impressed in the Premier League since signing for Leicester City last summer after he had a very good season in the Championship.

James Maddison will no doubt be making his senior debut against Kosovo in the Three Lions next Europa league game, after becoming part of Gareth Southgate’s national team squad.

In recent times, he has been linked with big clubs with the Daily Mirror claiming that he will be a potential Manchester United’s signing ahead of January, a deal that would see Leicester City rake in £80million.

The talented Englishman seems like an ideal signing for Manchester United.

And while James Maddison himself did not explicitly call out Man Utd, When asked by the Mirror, his comments below suggests he’d be keen for a transfer move to a big club.

“I want to play at the highest level my ability will allow me to,” he said.

“I like to think I’ve my head screwed on with the transfers I’ve made. I’ve played League One, in Scotland, the Championship and the Premier League. I worked my way up.”
