Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi is said to be angry with the club’s board after the failure to sign Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar this summer.
This is according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Post which claimed that senior Barcelona players including the aforementioned Messi are unhappy at the club for the Neymar transfer debacle.
The likes of Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez have been left infuriated at the failed move for Neymar.
Barcelona were unable to raise the necessary funds for Neymar with PSG holding out for the majority of the €220m spent on his transfer.
Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG in the summer of 2017 for a fee believed to be around €220m.

PSG activated the release clause in his then contract at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona wanted to re-sign Neymar this summer but all their offers were rejected by PSG.
Neymar has spent two years at PSG and it has been injury-filled.
The 27-year-old has missed the final weeks of each season as a PSG player due to various injuries.
Neymar has scored 51 goals in 58 appearances for PSG over the last two years.
The Brazilian is presently working his way back from injury.
