French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe is now a bigger player than Neymar at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) according to ESPN pundit Craig Burley.
The former Chelsea player said that Kylian Mbappe is more important to PSG than Neymar who didn’t get his wish this summer.
Brazilian international star Neymar wanted to leave PSG this summer but interested clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona were unable to prise him away from the French Ligue 1 champions.
Real Madrid and Barcelona were seriously linked with a move for Neymar for the better part of this summer’s transfer window.
Neymar signed for PSG two years ago following his controversial exit from Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona.
The 27-year-old wanted to return to Barcelona but the Catalan giants were unable to secure the funds needed to sign the most expensive player in world football.
Neymar became the most expensive player in the history of world football after PSG paid €220m to sign him in 2017.
The Brazilian international star has scored 51 goals in 58 appearances since his transfer to PSG from Barcelona.
He has won two successive league titles as a PSG player.
While he was at Barcelona, Neymar also won two league titles and the 2015 Champions League title.
