Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been advised to change his formation as he prepared his team for the North London Derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this weekend.

The Spanish tactician was advised by Gunners legend via his official YouTube channel.

According to him, Unai Emery should jettison the diamond formation used during the last league game against leaders Liverpool which ended in a 3-1 defeat.

It was the first loss recorded by Arsenal in the new season.

Ian Wright said that the diamond formation didn’t work well for Unai Emery and his players against Liverpool.

The ex-Arsenal striker went on to say that Unai Emery should stick to the 4-3-3 formation he ended the Liverpool game with last weekend.

Ian Wright is certain that Arsenal functioned better as a team with the 4-3-3 formation rather than the 4-4-2 diamond formation.

He also urged Unai Emery to start his best frontline when Tottenham Hotspur visit the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

Ian Wright expects the front trio of Nicholas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette to start the game against Spurs at home.

Arsenal would be hoping to bounce back from the defeat to Liverpool, while Spurs were stunned 1-0 at home by Newcastle United and will see the game as a perfect platform to right the wrongs from the last game.
