Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has sent a strong message to Premier League teams ahead of the group stage draws in this season’s Champions League.

Klopp warned the English teams while reacting to the Champions League group stage draws billed for Thursday as he said that they won’t dominate the competition like what was obtainable last season.

The Liverpool boss went on to mention teams like German Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich that have strong squads.

According to him, the likes of Italian Serie A champions Juventus, Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) also have strong squads.

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are the reigning Champions League winners from the last campaign which was dominated by the English teams.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur contested the Champions League final last season and the Reds came out on top via a 2-0 win over the North London giants.

The Reds secured the victory courtesy goals from Mohamed Salah (penalty) and second half substitute Divock Origi.

Liverpool have started the new season well with three straight wins in the Premier League in addition to winning the UEFA Super Cup by beating Premier League rivals Chelsea on penalties.
