Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has jokingly asked LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to call him about a possible return to the club.
Solskjaer made this known during his pre-match press conference ahead of the league game against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The Manchester United boss was reacting to the statement credited to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who said that he’s available if the club wants to bring him back to the Premier League.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic spent almost two years at Manchester United until March 2018 when he left for Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit LA Galaxy.
He joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in 2016 shortly after his contract at French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) ended.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals in 53 appearances for the Red Devils and a serious knee injury played a big role in his exit.
The former Juventus, Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam striker has been in good form for LA Galaxy this season after scoring 22 goals in as many league games in the MLS.
Manchester United might need his goals this season in the quest to return to the top of English football.
The Red Devils finished in sixth position in the Premier League at the end of last season.
