Everton winger Alex Iwobi scored his first goal for his new club on Wednesday night during the Carabao Cup clash with Lincoln City.

He was one of the goalscorers during the second round clash which ended in a 4-2 win for the Toffees.

After the game which ensured that Everton booked their spot in the third round of the competition, Alex Iwobi told reporters that he’s enjoying the start to life at his new club.

Alex Iwobi moved from boyhood club Arsenal to Everton on deadline day of the Premier League transfer window.

The Nigerian player joined Everton in a £40m deal thus making him the most expensive sale in the history of Arsenal.

Alex Iwobi started the Lincoln City for his full debut and it was the hosts who took the early initiative through Harry Anderson.

Everton left-back Lucas Digne equalized for the visitors with a sublime freekick as both teams ended the halftime interval at 1-1.

Gylfi Sigurdsson put Everton ahead on the hour mark before Bruno Andrade equalized for the home side via a volley paving the way for Alex Iwobi to score the third goal in the last ten minutes of the game before he was replaced by former Arsenal teammate Theo Walcott.

Brazilian attacker Richarlison wrapped up the scoring to take Everton into the next round.
