Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has revealed that he has spoken to Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar about a possible return to the club.

Pique confirmed his discussion with Neymar in a chat with the Daily Express as he said that the content of that talk is between the two players.

The Spanish international further said that time will tell if Neymar will be a Barcelona player at the end of the European transfer window next month.

Neymar spent four years at Barcelona from 2013 to 2017 following his big money move from Brazilian Serie A club Santos.

The Brazilian attacker scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Spanish giants Barcelona during his time at the club.

He helped Barcelona win the 2015 Champions League title following the 3-1 win over Italian champions Juventus in their final clash.

Neymar was one of the goalscorers for the Spanish champions.

The 26-year-old won two league titles at Barcelona before his move to PSG in a world-record deal worth €220m in 2017.

The transfer from Barcelona to PSG made him the most expensive player in the history of football.

Neymar is keen to return to Barcelona after spending just two years with PSG though rivals Real Madrid are also interested in him.
