Manchester United target Christian Eriksen might have played his last game for Tottenham Hotspur according to his manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Spurs boss said he was not sure whether Christian Eriksen will stay at the club beyond this summer’s transfer window.

According to him, his second-half appearance against Newcastle United could be the last one for Christian Eriksen.

Mauricio Pochettino spoke to BBC Sport about the situation of Christian Eriksen at the club.

Eriksen has one year left on his current contract with Spurs and the Danish international playmaker has made up his mind on leaving the club.

Shortly after the Champions League final in the summer, Christian Eriksen confirmed his desire to leave the club.

He was linked with a move to Manchester United before the Premier League transfer window ended.

Christian Eriksen can still move away from Spurs despite the fact that the Premier League transfer window has ended.

The European transfer window closes on the 2nd of September and Christian Eriksen could still leave England for Spain especially with the three big clubs keen to sign him.

The Danish international is attracting serious interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and La Liga champions Barcelona.
